Default 96 vtir ecu reset

hey all

trying to reset my ecu

does anyone know the right fuse and idle process???

I would think it would be the clock radio fuse. Pull it out for 10 sec. and then put it back in. The ECU should reset after that.

i dont remember who of my friends told me, but they told me that ecu if u leave it on ur carpet and unhook the plugs ill reset itself, but im like doesnt it reset by fuse with clock fuse, so we argued a little didnt do anything and left it to nothing so im not quet sure for my self how do u reset it

haha, yes put it on your carpet to reset it... LoL. Just unplugging it will reset it... the loss of power to hold it's memory will do that
