Default no fuel pump need help

ok i have just put a 89 si wire harness main and motor

and i went to start it and i truned the key and the main relay clicks once and no fuel pump goes on
i have never had **** car running
i bought it with no motor and no wire harness

my ecu isn't blinkin so i don't know if it's workin or not
and my engine stays on

there was on plug i didn't put in and it was the one on the back of the motor which is a b18a1 it's a little green plug on the block and i didn't have a little green plug on the motor harness
i don't think that well mess with my fuel pump tho

i have tried to replace the main relay so i took it out of a car that had no motor so i don't kno if it really works or not
it still does the same thing

is there something that i could of not pluged in ??

Is the CEL on but solid?

Try resoldering the connections on the main relay just to be sure.

i never even looks at the main to see if it's craked or not

You should have a ground from the engine (valve cover) to the chassis, tranny to the chassis, battery to the chassis and the ecu ground is in the harness and it attaches to a 10mm bolt on the thermostat housing. If all of those grounds are nice and secure, then I would look at the wiring to the pump and from the main relay to the ecu. But before you do that, verify the condition of the main relay, even a small hairline fracture will give you problems. So examine each solder point closely.

Check the wiring to the fuel pump to make sure it's getting signal. If not look for a short. Perhaps the pump went out on you.

What colors are all the wires? Look online for the UK/JDM CRX manual, it has all that **** in it.

Black with yellow strip would be power and the yellow is prolly some sort of signally thing. Anyway, figure it out. Try giving power straight to the pump to see if it primes.

ok well someon riged it so the pump runs straigh off of the fuse pannel on the inside so i didn't know that but there is the black and yellow wire there
so i am gonna try to hook it up the rite way
but other wise i put the wire in the one fuse and then put the fuse in and i truned the key and the pump just keeps running and never truns off intill i trun the key off

so i don't think that is rite
i think theywhere tring to get away from buying a main relay

i don't know
i am gonna be getting oil and putting my MSD **** on
and theni am gonna try to start it

later
