need modification help
I've been building a crx for track purposes, and have been considering to get a dry sump pump, so I can lower the engine as far in the chasis as possible, but I was wondering how I would go about actually lowering the motor. Do I need to relocate the motor mount braces or what. Someone here fas got to know, so help me out guys. Thanks
I don't think just lowering the engine is going to yield you any great advantage.
If you were lowering it AND moving it closer to the center of the vehicle for a more near 50/50 weight dist., then I would see where it might help.
At any rate, let's just go ahead and say that you did lower it. Remember that this now changes the location of your shift linkage and axles. You have to compensate those as well.

lowering the motor would give a lower center of gravity wouldn't it, so that should reduce a lot of the body roll, right. That's just my theory though. I'm putting the pump in either way.
