Default HKS or Tanabe

my freind is wanting to sell me his HKS hi power for $425 hardly been used practically new..and then i found a used tanabe racing medalloin for $300..just wanted some opinons thanx guys

my brother has hks on his rsx it sounds clean and looks good too but 425 is to much for used i bought his for 550 in 2002

Yep the HKS is too expensive. Personally they both sound great but the HKS looks better on the DC5.

i would go with the tanabe i think it sounds better than the HKs but thats my personal opinion i like a deeper mean sound not something thats loud and ricer

Go with the HKS. Good deal for that used price. The Tanabe is also good. If want to save money; Get the Tanabe

HKS has an amazing sound to it. If they had a turbo application for me I would have it. It looks great, sounds great. Not too loud, not soft, not rice. Smooth deep tone.

Honestly the hks hi power is good but the db is too high. It would attract some unwanted attention from police. Stick with the tanabe racing medallion

Yeah i had the same deal going, my brother's friend is selling me he Tanabe Super Medalion Racing for $200. I was going to get the Greddy EVO II for like $515, i took the cheaper route and i don't regret it one bit! Love my new exhaust! LOUD but not "RICEY"!

well didnt get it yet..havent had time to switch it from the other rsx..itll be on soon enough..also waiting to put my damn lowerin springs on..
