Replacing dual stage intake manifold with ITR manifold?
I know that my Integra GS-R has a dual stage manifold, sits a little lower that the ITR or Gen 6 SI. Would i make more power with an ITR manifold? Is it an easy swap or takes some modification? Or would it be better to just go with an AEM manifold or something like that? TIA!
you'll difientely make more power, but you have to get more things goign then just the itr manifold. The ITR manifold will required some minor fabrication, which i dont think is wroth it at all, might as well get the skunk2 maifold. You might loose power w/ just the manifold alone. I suggest if ur going na, buy some cams, valves, spring, retainers etc... so u can rev hight, then a vafc, to change ur vtec point and change the fuel/air ratio then the itr manifold, but skunk2 is better cuz it's bolts on. Finally tunning should hit you 170 ~180 ish whp..i'm guessing. Well that's my plan for the na route. Forget the i/h/e those things are useless and w/ some expensive stuff out there, it's just a waste of money...i was a little late to learn that.
i/h/e is not a waste of money...they are essential components when going N/A. you just need to get the right ones for your goals. I also recommend getting the skunk2 since it is a direct bolt on....it is pretty much identical to the JDM ITR manifold. I wasn't aware that AEM came out w/ an intake manifold.
going to need to chipp the ecu thats all. ECU w/0 the butterflys
and you don't need cams before. get the IM then get the cams

let see if i/h/e is a waste of money or not.
aem cai 200$?
jdm 4-1 400$?
apexi n1 500?
that's 1100$ just for the i/h/e and it would yield what, 10 whp? if your lucky? or maybe less, maybe more.
But you can spend that money on cams, vales, retainers, springs, etc..engine work...and get alot more. I/H/E should be last other wise it's just a waste of money.

Would it matter if you have cams and throttle body upgrade if you have a stock intake, header and exhaust?
I think you should just decide what is more important to you at that time. Power vs money wise.
I have experienced 14whp over stock with i,h,e, cam gears and ecu.
Thats about $2000 worth of crap excluding dyno time and labor. to get alittle over 10hp to the ground.
You make the call.

all i have to say is, "walk before you run"
major modifications without the basics are gonna also be a waste of money
Intakes are fairly cheap now... cheapest i've seen an AEM CAI go for is $180 shipped
a decent header like a DC or JDM header will run u $250-400
and a brand name exhaust is not neccesary, get a high flow muffler and custom exhaust piping for around 200 all together
again these basics wont yield great amounts of WHP but they are a start before you dive into crazy cams, porting & polishing, supercharging, Nitrous, higher compression pistons, or any other major modifications

I have a AEM CAI now, but how much WHP will a JDM DC 4-1 Header and a Catback such as DC Sports make? Will an aftermarket Cat do anything for me?
all cars are different, dont expect outrageous gains.. and a high flow cat is not neccessary with those mods... ur just poluting the air
everything works together, you can get toda spec c's or Jun III's, but if u're running stock CR 10:1 then your not gonna get as much power as u should, then you need more flow, ie: port and polish the head, then if you get crazy cams its necessary to get the valve train to match if you want to go hardcore then you'll need a high flowing header, ie: Toda, Mugen, HYTECH
everything works together.. one mod depends on another
