SRS dash Light w/ aftermarket steering wheel
Hello,
My question is this, "Is there a way to stop the SRS light from comming on when using an aftermarket steering wheel not equiped with a factory air bag?" The car is a 1994 Integra LS. I would like to solve the problem without just pulling the bulb. My reasons are that if the light is on, that means the computer thinks there is something wrong with the SRS system. I would like to in a way trick the computer into thinking there is no problem so that the other parts of the system ie. the sensors and other air bag will still function properly when needed and not fail due to the computer. I heard that a 2 ohm resistor can be brided in the air bag socket for this reason. I am not sure if this is true or even if it is what power rating of resistor should be used?
Thanks,
Brandon
