Location of OBDII plug ?
Hello everyone, i am wondering where is the OBD II plug situated in the civic 2006 ... yes i know it is on the drivers side, but im not too familiar with cars, tough i have a scanner, is it possible for someone to take a picture and point it out for me please? i have looked under myself and there is many many...many....
In my friends car it's kinda tucked up on the right side of the knee bolster and the center console. And it's at a diagonal angle when you plug in.
My scanner also will not communicate with my friend's car which is why I'm here. I'm looking for info about pulling codes since his check engine light is on. And he can't get an appointment with the dealer for the next 3 weeks.
I'm wondering if anyone can confirm or deny that they may have switched over to CAN communication? I'm going to try and ask around if anyone I know has a CAN bus scanner yet.

It is CAN, cause someone on fgcoupe has an auterra dyno-scan and he had to use the OBD II CAN model.
