Power Adders & Engine Swaps
I'am starting this thread in hopes that people will post viable/diffrent options in the forms of turbocharging, supercharging and engine swaps for our cars.
I have no clue as to the fitment/quality of the mounts, or the procedures they have taken. If I do deciede on doing a K20 swap it will be a K20Z3 (seems like it's more favorable due to fly by wire throttle, and electric power steering ... two things which seem to be problems with K20 swaps in our cars right off the bat).
What all K series motors have drive by wire. I have been told the current S2000 and RSX have Drive-by-wire, but not sure the exact motor in them.
I am also curious as if there needs to be custom axle shafts, or are people finding a stock part that works.

Nope. At least the older Accord Ks have a throttle cable instead of electronic. New S's and Si's definitely have DBW. S2000 is not a K series. TSX, Si, and RSX type S all have the performance (3 lobe) camshafts, while the RSX, Element, Accord, and CRV all share the economy type. Displacements are different, yes, the RSX and Si are the only ones with the 2 liter engines.

Hell no, it's an F20, with 120hp/liter. Not related to any other engine really, totally different than all the other Fs in Accords.

No actually. The current S2000 motor is the F22C. It's a 2.2L that puts out 240 and has a whole lot in common with the k series. F20C was AP1, while F22C is the AP2 motor.

How is it similar to the K? We talking mechanically, or phyically?
I also have a family member who has a 69 Dodson Roadster 2000, and been trying to talk them into dropping an S2000 motor and tranny in it. But the price tag on the motor and tranny has them holding back. Would be hell of fun.
