hub bearing bad again, ideas why?
Okay so when I first bought my lude a few years back the guy selling it said the rear pass. hub/bearing was going bad, and I could hear it. So I replaced it w/ a junkyard part cause I was tight on cash. That one finally went out last summer so I bought a new one from honda to hopefully end all probs. Now the same tire with a new from honda hub is bad again only a year later. Any ideas on what may be breaking these bearing down? Ive had an alignment in the last year or so too.
its a pretty easy straight forward install, kinda hard to f' it up IMO. Toe should be good as I had the alignment prior to replacing the hub. I would guess the hub is bad if its making noise...
wheel bearings require a press to put them in the knuckle assembly. My hub was fuxed up on the front knuckle causing my bearing to go bad. It took me 2 bearings and 2 trips to honda to figure that one out....
