Default Bad Vibration under 50% or more acceleration but only in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear

its a weird problem...

i searched through the archives and it seems to be cv joint or a problem with the driveshaft or even a problem with the axles...

what i dont get is why it only happens when im accelerating in 3rd 4th and 5th gear.

i can rev out 1st gear with no problems, no vibrations whatsoever. well minus road conditions.

if anyone can give me a definite answer that would be great...

bump for a solution...

im thinking it might be axles...i need to see which speed its happening at...

its definitely not occuring from a dead stop or even through first. its a bit noticeable during 2nd gear, but all hell breaks loose when i get into 3rd...

Lol. CV joint, drive shaft, and axle are all the same thing.

Im 99.9% sure your problem is a bad inner CV joint. Just replace the whole axle.

haha, didnt realize its all one thing...

now i understand why it happens only in those gears...its when im going a certain speed. its about 55mph and above where it gets pretty bad.

going tomorrow to get everything replaced hopefully that will fix the problem...anyone have any recommendations?

Either axle, mount or tire

its definitely not the tires...this vibration is REALLY bad, plus i mounted and balance my own tires...
