So I bought an old 1982 Honda cb450sc for a friend well I got it cleaned up and running but I don't have a key for it. I usually ride it around by roll starting it or a screwdriver on the starter solenoid but the electrical system doesn't work when I do that. So I looked for a new ignition and cant find one I even bought one for a 650 hoping it would work but no dice. Well locksmith wants $65 to fix it and I would rather not do that before I know if this bike is worth dumping money into. I want to see if the lights and junk even work.

off of the starter switch - r/y to r/b should do it - at least it did on the older CB's. I don't see a key on the diagram - starter switch is the closest thing.

 

theres an ignition switch on the lower left thats the one im trying to get.

Ok I think I got it my problem was my fuses were blown so when I would attach the wires nothing would happen. Thanks
