Default no spark after changing plugs

i have a 97 civic dx with a d16y7 motor. i replaced the spark plugs, replaced the wires in the wrong order, and the engine started then stopped. i fixed the wire order, but now there is no spark. i replaced the (cracked) distributor cap and rotor, but still no spark. anyone have any ideas?

at the wires there is no spark, but i didnt replace them because they are only about a year old and in good condition (i think). how do i check the coil to see if its bad? the wires inside the distributor are all intact.
