If you really want to do anything worthwhile, get rid of AC, PS, balance shafts and get an underdrive crank and alt pulley. Just putting a lighter pulley on your PS pump isn't going to do crap...

yeah, just take out the p/s and a/c. I wasn't going to do it to my car, but the a/c doesn't work, i'd liek to feel the road better which removing p/s woudl do, and even though it'd hurt resale value, I "could" always put it back in, but i'd rather use the excuse that "my car won't be worth much to sell, I need to keep it" if anyone wnat me to get rid of it. i'm keeping my damn prelude until i die

What I'm saying is where is the pulley going to go?...you want to know how to install it, so it helps to know where it 's going to be installed

If you don't care about power and you have a stereo, why are you even messing with pulleys?

What? You either bought a crank pulley, or a PS pulley, or an alt pulley....

You can't just find a place and stick a random pulley on there

Since the PS is connected to the crank pull, does an underdriven crank pully inherintly underdrive the PS as wel?

that's a weird first mod for someone with an auto. i'd usually expect a cai or a muffler.

More worthwhile if you ask me. Anyway, people seem to be getting confused by eBay selling terms. Any of the 3 pulleys can be underdrive. "Underdrive" means that it slows the spinning of whatever devices are connected (AC and PS). Anyway, most of the power gained isn't from underdriving, it's from lost weight. The stock crank pulley is very heavy. Personally, since I don't like slowing my accessories, so I like the UR OE size, lightweight pulley

You're doing fine. A lightweight crank pulley will be much more noticeable over a noisy exhaust

I know a few people with the eBay pulley and they say it works/fits fine. Still doesn't mean I'm gonna put one on
