Nice antenna/motor thingy

 

Prototype laser guns? I knew the creators of ITRs foresee the need for anti-theft devices.

That statement doesn't make sense...Anyhow, that antenna assembly does resemble a gun, or laser.

What did you plug the hole with? I want to get mine out baaaaaddd. I think it's the uglyest thing on my car.

 

LOL. Weight reduction at it's best. This antenna motor weighs all about 2 pounds! I only took it out for cosmetic purposes and did the S2000 conversion. Oh well it is a form of weight reduction! I also have my rear wiper motor out as well and plugged that hole

 

Skafia, There's no "humping" the lazer...

 

Honda took out a BUSHING in the shifter that helps reduce vibration, in order to save weight! That can't be more than a few ounces.

I think they were much more zealous about removing weight from the *front* and not so about doing the same in the back of the car, for obvious reasons.

I also did the S2K conversion.. it's looks cleaner than my bent antenna from driving on the freeway, I'll have more pictures of the antenna tonight...

 

BTW--how much can I sell this thing for?
