polyeurothane vs. butyl rubber: which is better?
I have heard it said that butyl rubber flexes less. And I have heard others say that poly is better for bushings, less flex. Is this on a per application basis (trailing arm bushings, sway bar, etc.) or what?

Also harsh, noisy and wear faster. I use OEM for bushings. Never use poly on the RTA, as it can cause suspension bind. Poly is pretty worthless for a DD.

poly just reqires a little more care than rubber ones...
u need to be able to lube em with marine grease at least once a year...
depending on ur driving conditions...

that should help...
imo poly does the job, and lasts longer with care...
