TEIN SS for EK9 / EK4
anyone knows the difference?
i got the one for EK9 and I cannot tuck my tire in the front with the spring perch already all the way down.
the rear is fine with the spring perch at the half.. still got rooms to go low..
thanks

Probably because they are engineered more for understeer than oversteer, and the spring rates are generally too high for crappy American roads. Basically they're made for Japanese roads and Japanese style driving.

its a common issue/fact, front even @ lowest setting do not tuck w/ 195/50R15
what i did was removed the tender springs, this gave me another .5-.75 inch drop. Mind you it will mean that the shock will wear out alot sooner, and you'll loose suspension travel. simply to say it wasn;t designed to operate at that range.

tein does not suck. My experiences with H-tech, Basic, Comfort Spec and Flexs has been nothing but a pleasure. Excellent production quality, design and fit and finish. Will take a hell of a recommendation to get me on to anything but these and Progress Technology. Woohoo 100th post.
