Why do OBD2 GSR's NOT come with a FITV?

Like the topic says, anyone know? I would think it would be better to have a FITV that way the idle can be easier controlled
FITV is worthless, the IACV (which is computer operated vs coolant operated) can control it just fine. Thus your ecu is programmed to say "hey, if the coolant temp is below 150 degrees we want to raise the idle." FITV ends up failing after years anyway and then the IACV does all the work anyway. Thus its a pointless part that was taken off in the later years.

Thanks a lot, that makes sense. My 00 GSR intake manifold was cracked so I bought a 99 one that came with an old *** TB with FITV attached to it. I was just comtemplating which TB to use, so I guess I'll just use the one I have in there already.
