16 x 7" rims on dropeed integra, 40 or 45 mm????
I searched around a didn't find a good answer. I'm looking to get Slipstreams in 16 x 7 for my GSR that has been dropped about 2 inches (may go more once I get rims and try things out). Should I go with the 40 or 45 mm offset? I know a ton of you are running 16 x 7 rims. By the way, I'm planning on running 205/45/16 tires so feel free to recommend what you've found to be good all around daily driver/occasional track tires.
I had 16x7 regamasters with a +45 offset and 205/45 tires, and it was perfect. Dropped over 2" and no rubbing.
Go with the highest offset you can before it interferes with the suspension members/control arms. In my opinion, +45 is perfect. +40 will stick out slightly farther from the body (hard for the human eye to tell, but more prone to rubbing and such)...
