'94 Civic EX - No stock rear sway bar??
As the question suggests - buddy has a '94 EX Civic coupe. He says that it doesn't have a stock rear sway bar, and that you have to swap the LCA's to allow the installation of one.
Is this true??
thanks...

Yes it is true. You can get all the parts from any 94-01 Integra, 92-95 Civic w/ rear sway, or 93-97 Del Sol w/ rear sway...
A civic with no rear sway will also need 4 extra nuts (from hardware store) because Honda did not put the tac-welded mounting nuts inside the rear sub-frame for us...

Only 92-95 Civic that came with a factory rear swaybar is the EX 4-door.

I fitted an Integra rear sway with lower control arms to my 92 civic with zero problems.

Personally I'm not really even sure a sway bar is needed?
Here is a picture of our friend's car - I mean, it looks very stable with minimal body roll. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

i just purchased a progress 22mm sway bar for my 92 dx sedan. it doesn't require you to swap lca's because it bolts to the lower strut bolt. just throwing another option out there.

Passenger? Try Instructor!
Making your instructor vomit because you have a stock suspension with 160k miles in it = priceless.

My car's stock setup would look the same too. It's my DD so it doesn't really matter.

This is some ground clearance. For sure if both sides were like this, 4x4 offroading FTW.

yea my 95 ex didnt either, but they do come with fronts. i recomend buying the progress rear sway bar, it comes with all hardware needed and you dont need to buy different control arms, or a subframe re-inforcement (i.e. beaks kit) because of the way it mounts to the chasis. it comes with supplied brackets that take all the stress off the body that cause it to snap or crack. at least this is the case with 6th gens
