Default Quick Azeni question

Well a lot of people have been giving good reviews on the Falken Azenis. I was just wondering, are these tires good performers in the rain, and are they even sutiable for daily driving? Thanks, Jason.

Yes, the Azeniz are ok in the rain, as long as you are under the speed limit.

they are not rain tires. look at their tread.

you will not be not taking hard corners in the rain.

Okay, Im geussing there performance then would be worse than the Kuhmos Ecsta 712's V rated in the rain?? And from what has been said it seems like they are not a great choice for daily driving espcially in Oregon because it rains a lot here, but then again i don't really do much spirited driving in the rain, kinda dumb anyway. Im sorta confused...

They are rated A in stoping power on wet surfaces, not the highest AA rating but pretty good. I've heard many people say they're fine as long as you're not going through standing water/puddles. I myself will let you know after my first rained on Auto-X.

I have the Azensis as my daily driver tire on my Miata and recently on my ITR. I have been in torrential downpours on the tires in an open differential rear wheel drive car (Miata). Possibly one of the worse traction configurations for wet weather. The tires performed great. Of course I am not trying to race in the rain. But, they were great at around 60mph to 70mph through puddles and all sort of wet weather.

On the ITR, the grip very well on wet asphalt. Not sure on puddles yet with the ITR.

Thanks everyone, thats basically what I was looking for. Maybe when i go to the auto-x a little more often, then I will spend the money for these tires. I know there not much, but the 712's are great all around tires IMO.

Sorry you don't approve of my sig, but I've grown fond of it, Just don't waste yor time reading it. It's clearly a sig. so skip it. Avatars GONE, Stars GONE, leave my sig. alone. Others might read it and ask a quetion based on it, that's why it's there. By the way this is all in the nicest possible tone
