i was lookin at skunk2 mani's but i was just wondering how much hp i'd get out of the mani i have a dc header and msd blazter 3

Intake manifolds arent worth it if thats the only thing youre going to get. It's like buying a wastegate without buying the turbo. :-| If you want to get one, I would suggest a bored out TB at the very least.

yea my one boy told me that it isn't worth geting unless you got work done to your motor
so to get the mani would be just wasting money
well how about a fuel rail
would that help me out

i dont think that will do anything either, its like teh IM, you wont get anything unless your engine is built, imo get a exhaust or a good intake or something.

It's cool, I went through this stage too, bought a venom 400 for my 00 civic ex because it said increase 25% hp, destroyed my o2 sensor, how nice!
Anyway do some reading on how to make real power, not flashy things that look nice and give you 0.25 hp. Upgrade internals or do a swap.

 

you should just get an intake, integra tb, and a z6/y8 im. probably cheaper then the skunk2 anyway

 

how would u put a z6 manifold on an ls motor?

 

i believe ur stock fuel rail is good for up to 600 whp...if u change it now it is purely cosmetic

 

just do a basic tune-up. New Plugs, New wires, cap, rotor, adjust your valves, change oil, clean your filter! and check your timing! You will be surprised what a tune up will do.
