Default clutch install tips

I do not have the tool! Is it possible to install without it?

What do you think??? Can you open nuts and bolts by hands? You don't need impact tools, but at least hand tools like ratchet, socket, wrench, torque wrench....

he probably meant the alignment tool, nothing else would make sense lol ... it just makes it easier to install it

it really helps if you never done a clutch install before.. if you havent before.. i dont suggest you going on with it, if this is ur first time.. bc more then likely it wont be properly aligned

No, get the tool and test it before you start bolting things up...it might not fit exactly and you might have to wrap some electrical tape around it to get the right size.

i only meant the alignment tool! I have done quite a few clutch installs, but I always had it.

Anyone have any Tips for doing the install without it?

I did it without it! Just used a ratchet handel and some electric tape to size it right. Just finished mounting up my engine, will finish everything tomorrow!

I have never used the alignment tool and have done 7-8 clutch replacements so far. All of them work flawlessly. It just the matter of proper plate positioning (the center hole must be aligned with flywheel).
