Default Good bye Type-S...

Well, I traded in my '05 Type S recently. It was too small for what I do anymore and driving as much as I do, stick just wasn't doing it for me. Plus, with a Civic race car that I co-drive at HPDE's the Type-S just wasn't as much fun to drive as it used to be.

It was a beautiful and fun car while it lasted! So long Type S!

In remembrance....

Replacement '06 Lariat 5.4L Supercrew F-150 aka tow vehicle

BTW, I love this freakin thing!

Haha. Ridgeline wouldn't pull the 20 ft. fully enclosed race trailer either. Weighs 5,500 lbs.

Ouch. thats a porker youve got there. Plus thats just the trailer.

Plus you got the muscle of the Triton, major pwnage over the ridgeline. And you can tow a gooseneck if you want too. I dont disagree with Mike much, but Im gonna have to here.

Yah, they are nice and would pull the trailer better, but they are also in the 40k range for a super cab.

The 5,500 lbs trailer weight was with the car included. True, it is a drastic change but I get my fix of speed at the track in my friend's ITR powered Civic hatch. It's a blast. Pics and specs to come on the hatch soon. Sebring event in less than 4 weeks.

ridgeline = pimp truck with impracticality (you cant tow **** with a 5,500 lb car).

ford = second most bad *** truck out there (ram 2500 first )

lol I'd like to see a Ridgeline pull this trailer at 65-70 mph for 5 hours. BTW, this is my buddies truck that I will be replacing as primary tow vehicle.

And the Dodge comment, they are nice but the cab's not as big as the Ford's. That's another reason I went Ford.

I haven't towed the trailer yet, if that's what you mean. With the Tahoe we were getting 10 mpg on the highway running about 65-70.

He can expect about 15 - 17 mpg on the highway and about 12-13 in the city. They are nice trucks i used to have an 04 f150 simuliar to yours and with the 5.4 youll enjoy that 300horses. It really cleans up when you put bigger rims tires and lower it a lil.

A friend went out and did almost the exact same thing. He got rid of his EM2 bought a GMC Sierra 2500 to tow his LS-VTEC CRX. Now he wants me to find him a DC2 shell to drop his extra LS engine into because the cost of gas is killing his wallet.
