Plus you got the muscle of the Triton, major pwnage over the ridgeline. And you can tow a gooseneck if you want too. I dont disagree with Mike much, but Im gonna have to here. |

Why didn't you get a turbo diesel ? They are so much fun to drive.

Yah, they are nice and would pull the trailer better, but they are also in the 40k range for a super cab. The 5,500 lbs trailer weight was with the car included. True, it is a drastic change but I get my fix of speed at the track in my friend's ITR powered Civic hatch. It's a blast. Pics and specs to come on the hatch soon. Sebring event in less than 4 weeks. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |

Re: Good bye Type-S... (Earthworm Jim)
ridgeline = pimp truck with impracticality (you cant tow shit with a 5,500 lb car).
ford = second most bad ass truck out there (ram 2500 first https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif ) |

Ridgeline > that lol I'd like to see a Ridgeline pull this trailer at 65-70 mph for 5 hours. BTW, this is my buddies truck that I will be replacing as primary tow vehicle. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg And the Dodge comment, they are nice but the cab's not as big as the Ford's. That's another reason I went Ford. |
how many mpg are you getting?

I haven't towed the trailer yet, if that's what you mean. With the Tahoe we were getting 10 mpg on the highway running about 65-70. |
Re: (96 SOHC VTEC)
He can expect about 15 - 17 mpg on the highway and about 12-13 in the city. They are nice trucks i used to have an 04 f150 simuliar to yours and with the 5.4 youll enjoy that 300horses. It really cleans up when you put bigger rims tires and lower it a lil.
|
DANG!!!!!!
|
Re: (eskribble)
I was not expecting that truck when i was scrollin down. Goodluck with gas, considerin you said you drive a lot.

Re: (whiteDCfiver)
A friend went out and did almost the exact same thing. He got rid of his EM2 bought a GMC Sierra 2500 to tow his LS-VTEC CRX. Now he wants me to find him a DC2 shell to drop his extra LS engine into because the cost of gas is killing his wallet.

By the looks of the trailer it looks like he has no problem forking money over to get his race car to events https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif Congrats man https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif
