Default Sway Bar ? for EP3....

I use my car as a daily driver and plan to possibly hit up some HPDE events later on down the road. But for right now its just some spirited driving. I was looking into upgrading my front sway bar and was wondering what experiences you guys have had? and what bar would best match up with my current setup? I was also considering going with DC5 front LCAs and the DC5 front sway bar. I wasn't sure about this because i'm worried about tire wear. I have my stock 15s on now but will be putting on 17s with 215/45s. Any info. would be great!

My currnet setup:
ALEX F. Upper Bar
KYB Adj. struts
Spoon Progressive Springs
Spoon R. Upper Bar
Spoon L. Tie Bar
Cusco 25mm R. Sway Bar

Front Sway Bar??????
Front LCAs?????

ive read ppl get smaller front sway bar from EM2 to decrease understeer

Try for a camber kit, control arms, polyurethane bushings, an underbrace from tanabe or cusco, and motor mounts or inserts should do you fine on what you are trying to do.

This is true, which is why I DONT have a front sway bar replaced. Suits me just fine in harder cornering, and the understeer is noticable, but not overpowering. But I personally am not 100% sure it would work. If I seen it though, then its all good. But I just have never heard of the front sway from an EM2 on the Ep3.

It's the 15.9 mm front sway from the '03-era Civic EX. It allows better traction on corner exit (mainly because it doesn't lift up the inside wheel as much as a stiff front bar) and, as a bonus, has more room for header clearance (important if you want to run a 4-2-1 header).

The thing is, the guys running this front sway are using it for autocross, which normally requires a different suspension setup than circuit driving. Their goal is more point-ability and maybe even a little tail-happy balance. It's great for tight autocross courses, but it can get scary on a large, fast circuit.

Because of your intended use, I'd say to stick with the front sway you've got (or the ITR sway/LCA combo) and maybe add the stuff that Red_EM2 mentioned. Camber kits are probably the most important part, too.
