I've completed the front and rear conversions but I didn't realize I also need to upgrade the MC, BB and PV. My question is: Which brake booster, master cylinder and proportioning valve should I get? I understand that the 99-00 Si and 98-01 Integra donor parts should work however I wonder if they require me to bend the brake lines at all? Any one who has completed the same conversion know from experience which is the best setup?

I searched but didn't find any mention of if lines had to be bent.

 

The PV is the same as the Si. You can upgrade to the 7/8" Si MC or 98-01 1" Integra MC. Both bolt on and PnP.

 

If you use the 99-00 SI MC/BB you do not have to bend the lines since the 99-00 Si did not come with ABS. As for the prop valve you can keeo your stock one, I did on my EK and my car stops on a dime!

This thread looks like it might be dead/might not however there was good info in here so I decided to post my question here.
I've converted most of my brake system over to 94+ integra on my 98 hatch. I had some bumps along the way so I will state in detail what I've done.

Changed M/C to SI master.
Changed front knuckles, rotors, calipers, hubs.
Changed complete rear trailing arms.. note rear trailing arm bushings were damaged and replaced with Energy Suspension units.

Front and rear assemblies were completely from a 94+ teg however I have a nice alignment issue in the rear. I didn't convert any of the sub arms from the original setup to the Integra setup so I am wondering if any of the arms, LCA, control arm whatever were supposed to be changed on the rear. My alignment issue is that the rear passenger wheel appears to be mounted further outside the wheel well than the driver side and I have a large amount of positive toe. So are some of the arms different on the rears? Also.. what's different on the BB? I don't see the point in changing it.. I have one off an SI but they look the same does the SI one build more pressure?

The booster part numbers are different between the EX/Si(SiR) and the DX/CX, but I've confirmed with some techs that the booster shouldn't make a difference.

As far as your rear LCA's you have to use the EK units because they are different length than the EG and DC units.

 

Something may be bent on the trailing arm.

 

You know, the problem was right in front of me the entire time.. the LCAs appear different on the car. I had noticed that and I thought that one of them was just the opposite side turned backwards and mounted.. but it appears one was already switched to an EK while the other was the DC original.. this was my problem. I'm going to order some replacements now. Thanks a bunch.. I really should have caught this myself.
