hey i have a 92 civic with a h22 and it is not starting. it will crank over i also dont hear the fuel pump turn on. i just got a new fuel pump and it didnt work... and i also got a new main relay and still nothing. please someone help me out!!!!

 

Does your check engine light come on when you turn the ignition on for about 3 seconda then turn off? if so, the ECU is good and the may have a wiring problem. If not check, the ground on the thermostat housing, it's the most common problem. If it does, do you have a spare odb1 ecu (can be from any honda) you can plug in and turn on the ignition to listen for the fuel pump to turn on. If it does turn on with another and not the H22 ecu. the H22 ecu has a problem.

 

ill go and check that ground and no i dont have a obd1 ecu but how could it be that when it was just working a few days ago?

 

check you Fuel filters and fuel lines for blocks in them and check if your getting spark

 

well i got the fuel pump to turn on now but its still not starting and now the check engine light comes off then turns off

 

how many grouunds do you have? i found that h22's are very needy of ground wires
