1 people said that prelude SH (h22a4) is not good for turbo , so can the h22a1 good for turbo
2 With a rebuilt bottom end , can Fmax kit makes more than 300hp with h22a1 ??

The SH's tranny isn't good for boost, not the engine.

 

with the sh onec you put power to it that atts system or whatever the hell its called tends to **** the bed alot better to boost a base lude or convert everything i seen one prelude sh blow three of the atts systems
ps if you gonna turbo do it right build your engine up computer and fuel injectors ive seen some real pieces of ****

the h22a4 is in all 5th gen preludes, not just the SH. the h22a1 is from 4th gen preludes, and has a closed deck. but all of the above is more or less correct.

theoretically the closed deck is better for boost, but i don't think the sleeves are gonna be the weak link...

Your right, the sleeves are not the weakest link. the tranny is the weakest link in the 5th Gen. I know 3 rebuilds later and now I'm waiting for a 4th gen tranny. Gets here Mon. and thats with a JRSC behind it.

 

i haven't heard of many tranny failures... at least the 5spd... but a fair number of dead pistons out there.
