K-Pro is a fully user programmable Hondata application...

A reflash is just something to recompensate in the ECU for bolt ons that you already have. It is not programmable.

If youre not going for an all out Boost'd motor, or a beast all motor setup, just get the reflash.

Not if you dont know how to tune it.

K-Pro is fully programmable. A reflash is a preset retune of the ECU. If he has never tuned, and doesnt know anybody who does, than he needs to go with a simple reflash. Especially if hes not planning to go on a full all motor or boosted build.

For simple bolt-on's, all he needs is a reflash to compensate for the bolt ons.

With a race header he will run lean. It is a known fact. With K-pro you can adjust the fuel band in every part of the rpm range. Just record a run on your lap top, then adjust the fuel setting ect. load it on the ecu and run again to check. The hondata k-pro software is really easy to use and on ephatch there is a video that the owner put together on how to basic tune a car. If you can watch a vid and remember a few steps you can tune a car with bolt ons.

If i'm not mistaken, all the reflash does is advance timing and lean out the afr on the top end and the K-pro is like a real tunable engine management.

I havent really seen anyone with a reflash, pretty much most people are just saving alittle more and getting the Kpro, give you plenty of flexability in the future, and doesnt the Kpro come with a whole bunch different maps you can use?

Make sure you understand the exact modifications for which the flash was designed. If you are going to do exactly the same thing and go no further, then the flash is an economical way to maximise the changes you will have made.

If you're never going to stop modifying and/or tuning, then there is no substitute for the K Pro.

The reflash is great. best bang for the buck power mod you can get. Just need intake and exhaust and you can get it. Header will squeeze out the rest of the power.

You can always upgrade to KPro from the flash. Saves you some money. KPro however like they all said is the end all for K-series engine management. It also contains the reflash as one of the uploadable .kal files

K-pro. Its more $$ but if you browse the formus a little bit more, you'll find that its been working the best for everyone. It's a hondata program but for the K.
