my damn gsr swap blows a grip of smoke, i mean a grip haha, while in rpms...4500 - vtec and while in vtec it bogs and goes and bogs and goes. drives fine when im cruising. stock gsr with a skunk2 chipped p28. can it be the chipped p28? put in a chipped p30 and it ran strong with no smoke or probs. the skunk2 program cant make it run that rich can it? maybe the p28 is fcked up. no codes thrown. help me out if u guys can

I'd get a computer that would recognize the IABs (ie P72). The smoking can be due to bad valve stem seals.

 

Have you tuned the car or just put the p28 in? the bogging could be from running to rich or to lean yet again a tuning issue same with the smoke if its just extra fuel not being burned
