H23/H22 Swap or Not?
Hey Guys, I've got a 4th Prelude with 123,000 miles on it. I have been going back and forth on the idea of doing an H22 swap. But, part of me likes the idea of adding more to the H23 since they are so hard to find. Monetarily with the mods I could do to boost the H23, I could also do a clean Swap on an H22. Your thoughts?

If you have the money, I would just run nitrous on the h23
until it croaks on you then swap in an h22

WOW, I am surprised I read this response!
I was expecting a lot of, "get an H22 swap, yO, then boost da shyt out of it."
If I were in the position, I would either boost a straight F22/F23 or do the H23 head on an F22/F23 bottomend.

Here's my 2 cents. I had to decide the very same thing once. My H23 was burning oil and some valves were bent, so it needed a rebuild. So I bought myself a H22A and its sweet. If you've never had a VTEC before, I reccomend getting one. But if you know your H23 is in good shape, and you wanna boost it, then make your own turbo kit, it would be probably cheaper than a H22A swap. (not to mention it would have around 60whp more)
