Default Just moved up to the s2000, need some info spoon?mugen?

Now i dont wanna mess around when it comes to parts for this car. i was thinkin of just sticking with all spoon or all mugen, but i noticed spoon made alot more parts for it. Now im just gunna start with my exhaust, i want a full exhaust(header+exhaust) i was lookin at the spoon exhaust and i noticed it got rid of the dual exhaust (is that better?) and the mugen stayed with the dual. does anyone know which is a better overall exhaust? whats the diff. Spoon wheels have already been choosen black on silver gotta love it! any help is greatly appreciated.
Comtech and paxton? same SC?

Check this place out, use the "search" function for Spoon or Mugen.

if you go single you'll get more power out of your s2k, rather than the dual. i personally think that dual looks better. you don't have to buy from only one specific brand. just research and you'll find that there is great combinations of different companies that make good aftermarket parts for your car. i really like the aem/injen cai intake, vafc, and comptech/apexi exhaust setup on the s2k. you get noticeable gains if tuned correctly. and it doesn't cost as much as mugen or spoon. like jedraz stated, go to s2ki.com and research.

don`t waste your money on the jdm brand names. Buy whatever YOU think looks best and is affordable. I`ve seen plenty s2k`s lose power on the dyno with $2,500 in bolt-on, NA mods. Don`t expext to make much power w/ i/e/h.

The biggest gains seem to be weight loss, about 20 lbs or so. I think that the Mugen exhaust will get you about 6hp at a cost of $1600. I am waiting on a dyno plot on the Supersprint system, it seems like a nice setup for about $1300.

I don't even think the gains with the Mugen exhaust are that good. The big reason I chose Mugen is sound and quality. I love the sound of the exhaust, a low rumble that doesn't sound like a typical Honda. Quality is fantastic, even though mine had a defective resonator (replaced under warranty) construction is top notch. As far as power gains go, I think all out HP is sacrificed for approximately 7 more foot pounds of torque UNDER VTEC. For autocross that is a big gain not to mention the entire system is 26lbs lighter than stock. Combine it with the header, CAI and ECU you will get about 15hp but I don't remember torque.

FWIW I chose to buy Mugen before I started selling them. They may be pricey but sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
