Default Ninja 650... Thoughts on it...

I stopped by the a motorcycle shop that about a block away from my work and they had one there, the styling is pretty good but one thing I didn't like was the handle bars, the suspension set-up is pretty sweet though not to mention the paralell twin.

I think we had a thread about this bike vs the SV.

The suspension is not very adjustable. Also, the rearset/footpegs for the driver and passenger are one huge (and, IMO, ugly) unit.

Great bike from what ive seen and read on the internet, it sounds nice too. Id stack it right up there with the SV650 although the 650R guys say it doesnt have as much top end as the SV. The price is supposed to go up for 07 though...

They have around 60ish HP stock. On the ninja650.com forums a racer has done all the work you can do NA and supposedly has 80hp...

Oh yeah cant forget the faring buzz it has at a X rpm... Although there is a kit to fix that.
