Default GSR swap i/h/e + 2.5" straight back, why is it so quiet

I just swapped in a GSR in my 94 civic with a 3" SRI, JDM ITR header, straight pipe, and 2.5" all the way back to a greddy evo2 muffler. my question is why is the car so damn quiet lol. i can barely hear an exhaust tone at all, and i can barely hear the intake. im runnin a p28 with a gsr map, with the stock IM. is it so quiet because of the stock IM?

i'd love for my car to be quiet with the same mods. i'm going friggin deaf in my car. if it accelerates fine but just doesn't "sound" like it's going fast then don't complain, be happy. you're not attracting any attention.

yeah well i love sound. jsut like mario andretti quoted the sound of the car is the 2nd best thing next to speed. i use to live in norcal so i know how it is, but i live in a redneck town where everyone runs open header so no worries

if IAB isn't wired up it stays open, which is fine for top end but I read that you lose a lot of low end power (10ft.lbs.) (but you probably won't notice coming from a D16)

I'd be happy if I were you, but if you want loud you're going to have to get a different muffler

this thread sucks. you are lucky to have an exhaust that doesnt bug the **** out of everyone you drive by, keep it that way.
