Default Rage Header

I've Recently ordered a Rage header for my 97 ITR.

I was wondering if anyone has one, and if they can give me some feedback on it with regards to power gains and fitment.

From what I've just read on theur website, it displays that their B-series header will not fit a USDM ITR without modification due to where the Transmission Brace is located.

I would like to get some clarification on this statement, if anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

I found 51 topics created by him, none of which included the Rage header.

Thanks guys, hopefully I can find some positive answers, I would hate having to do extensive modifications to make this header fit properly.

I just got mine in the other day. I plan on getting a BC spec II exhaust and having a flex pipe and cat made after I get the lengths measured up. I also need to find out where I can get a 2.5" header donut. S2K? So far it's a great looking header.

Yes, I have the Rage header. I opted for the big tube design since I'm running a 2.0L setup. I have not had a chance to dyno the car but the car feels great. I'm running this header now with a Hytech TL exhaust. Super sleeper

Also, with my header I had to remove the tranny brace. I am currently running a/c and it clears everything without a problem. The only thing is that tranny brace

My B18C5 headers haven't required notching that brace for years now.

I guess that depends on your application Dave.

Not that I'm complaining or anything, it's a nice snug fit.

Do you feel more movement without the tranny brace?

What we do over here is remove the brace and put a b16 cover to help shield the flywheel from rocks or debris. Shop I go to has race cars without the brace so I guess its ok.
