Default civic front bumper on crx?

alright so im sure this has probably been done before but i have never screen any information about it or screen pictures of it. is it possible to put a hatch back civic front bumper onto a crx. what needs to be changed? does it line up the same or do i need fenders and hood? were there different years with different front bumpers for the hatch back civic? if so what is this year bumper?

It can be done but you will need to also change your fenders. IMO it looks dumb too since the CRX is much cleaner. If you just need a CRX bumper get a certifit and be done with it.

the hatch has the filler piece above the bumper that goes under the corner lens and meets the fender. the crx does not have the filler, the bumper does it all.

just need the fenders as far as I know.

I've done this before. You will need to swap the bumper, fenders, corner lights, bumper lights, and filler panel from the hatch to the crx. The fenders will have to be cut and welded under the molding on the rear lower portion, and the CRX part will have to be fit to the Civic Fender. I did the CRX front a hatch, but it will basicly be the same thing, just the reverese. I agree with Toad though, the CRX front looks allot better.

i bought a crx cheap that had this done, civic fenders, bumper, corners, and the lower trim was removed from the car. in my opinion it looked horrible, i would have changed it all back to crx but it was my beater. i would never pay good money to make my car look that bad.
