lowering springs for stock struts?

Default lowering springs for stock struts?

i went to a local shop... and they told me the only spring that could go on the stock strut is teins.. but he didnt tell me which? i have a 94 coupe with a gsr.. 16" rotas. id like to get the car lower.. but not slammed. i dont want to hit much, if not at all.. i was thinking since i got 16's it raised the car.. id liek it to get back to stock height with the 16's? what teins are these> and was he telling me the truht? oh its my DD

I dought you raised the, unless your running a 60+ sidewall height. It looks higher because a lower profile tire which leaves a bigger fender gap, but on my project car im running 16 rims with 55 series and its slightly lower than stock, just looks like monster truck.

And to answer your question, they are probably the S. tech's

What shop told you that? They where probaly selling you the Tein S tech or the H tech springs. You can go with those but you also have many other choice I would try another shop

screw just the spring, buy coilovers, strut/spring combo :-\

and by coilover he isnt talking about the 30 ebay specials, he's talking omnipower's, k psorts, i think you can get the ground controls with koni adj. assmebled, form & function, UGR's, and other's.

i wouldnt have to think twice about that deal, thats a steal for those. those retail more than omni powers. A buddy of mine has k sports on his hatch and i love them. Prolly my next suspension.

dam and i was just looking at the 10 dollar coilovers on ebay lol just playing.... whats some decent coilovers that are not high price but are decent calualty and wont bounce when going above 100

ive heard its not ogod to go coilover/ stock strurt or spring/stock strut.;.. like everyonme isa sayign. dont cheap out on suspension... omni power. k sports... tein.. neuspeed, koni

dont cheap out on your suspesion. If your going to be cheap, buy the cheap exhaust, the ebay intake, the ebay header, but your car dirves on this part, and if the junk ebay coilovers break lets say while your on the freeway, it wont be pretty. anything is possible.

Looking in some ground controls, maybe the dropzone coilover/shock combo, rode in a interga with that combo and it rode nice, eibach coilovers along with other, just put them on good shocks.

lol i no i was just kidding about the cheap ebay coilovers... i wouldnt cheap out on that... i just seeing something decnt if anything around 200.00 give or take...
