questions on my new (to me at least) crx
i have just bought a 5 speed 88 crx and i was wondering what ways i could find out what model it is. i know its not an si, and it has the rpms gauge (my dx hatch doesn't). can u guys please help me in identifying what model my rex is?
its body is in horrible condition. it looks like someone took bondo and smushed it where ever they saw rust. itll be my winter beater so i can sell my integra and keep the hatch locked up for the winter.
thanks

well all the crx's have tachs..The hf model has like a 5000rpm redline though...
hf says hf on the back and has d15b7 engine, multi point fuel injection....The dx has no badge on back and has a d15b2 ,and dual point fuel injection
but to be certain you should go to carfax.com

it redlines at 6,500 and has a dpfi d15b2, however i was told that that wasn't the original motor, but from a dx like njcrxsi stated. there is no badge, but i wasn't sure if u could rip it off like the dx badges on the hatch. i also wasn't sure if there was a standard model. also i didn't know if having a tach and passenger side mirror played a role like it did in the hatches.
guess i have another dx

yeah with the crx's, the dx = standard..even though everyone calls it dx it still said "std" in the honda brochure..
