..let me know your guys opinon???
...P.S.."luis i know u got sumthing to say about this topic, you always got sumthing to say about the k-series...engines"..

I dont think theres much question to which motor has more potential and is better. The question is, what motor is cheaper and more practical for you. The answer for most people is a b-series.

That's like saying whats better a ferrari or an honda. (Haha maybe the price gap is a little bigger) But anyways the k is better but you will pay out the *** for it. I don't want to put a 8k motor in my 4k car.

bah, anyone who dumps $10k on a k swap better be running 11's. n/a.
this is what i would do.
K24A4 - $800
K20A3 si tranny - $600
rods/pistons - $1000
k20a2 top end - $1000
cams - $1000
kpro - $1000
swap parts - $1000
thats like $6k -$7k for 250 whp and 190-200 wtq. You could not do that with a b-series....N/A....for that cost. or you could drop a few more hundred and have a 6-spd. can't do that with your b, can you?
It really just depends on what your starting with, what your goals are, and what kind of money you have.
If you want like 200 whp and no torque, stick with B. If you want like 210 whp and lots of torque, get a H22. And if you want more, go K.
but..... ya gotta pay to go K.

If the OP asked for potential, why are people comparing b-->k Price?
Comparing the two motors, about what they can do,
not what you can do with 10k to a b-series cause you got it uber cheap ..

Because it is not logical to drop in a k series unless money is no issue.

Yes, but arguing price is a completely different topic,
It has nothing to do with which engine has more potential(power wise).

Thats wtf Im saying, I've run B, H, D, and K series and theres no question that the K-series is the best platform. Ofcourse now that civics and integras are $500 cars and people shop for their parts off ebay, what would you expect.

I know k series has more potential, there is no argument. But a b series is a much better bang for your buck. It would only be a fraction of the cost to build a gsr engine that would be as quick. I just dont see the point of spending all that money for a swap thats only going to give you about 180whp and a bit of torque
So yeah, all financial common sense aside the k series is a better platform in your integra.
