squeaking noise while braking
i just noticed today, that my 04 accord lx sedan (51k miles w/ the original brakes when i bought my car new) has a very faint squeaking sound coming from the front right whenever i am braking and coming to a complete stop when my speed drops under ~10-15mph. i don't notice any difference in the ability to brake, or a change in the way my car stops.
anyone have any clues as to what might be happening?

The newer honda brake pads are a really hard material[compared to early 90's] and rotor glazing is a problem, look at the rotors and if you can see yourself in the rotor it's time to have them resurfaced, as a test you can scuff them up with some 60 grit sand paper to see if the noise goes away for a day or two. Also when the pads wear down pretty far the pad material can't dissapate the heat and the pad will get cracked and cooked. I hate that high pitched sound, puts my teeth on edge and makes me want to wear earplugs. There is a service bulletin about this problem.
It should be a Ceramic Pad.
There are Organics and Semi-Metallic that works just as good, but you get a harder pad as someone stated above and more brake dust with these two.
