Emission guys...ebay high-flo cat converters?? or are they just useless resonators....
ok, I just pulled my exhaust off my 93 hatch with 204k!!! miles to replace with an ebay TSUDO exhaust system...mainly because it was cheaper than getting a replacement system at the local mieneke.
anyway. The bolts on the converter are uselessly rusted and I cant get it off...even tried grinding them to no avail
I immediately went back to ebay for a cheap solution and see multiple $25 "hi-flo" catalytic converters such as this one.....

not to be the one to jump at the price and purchase...I look around at different formats knowing damn well they are all selling the same thing and I find this one which shows a through shot.

the damn things look just like resonators!!! no honeycomb or anything.. I'm really looking for something that is bolt-in but if I cant pass emissions I dont want it because I need to be able to pass emissions here in atlanta obviously since with it being OBD1 they will toss a sniffer in the exhaust and not just do a ecu test.
anyone with experience with these??? thanks!!

the "high-flow" on eBay are just like you said, resonators. you can buy a universal one and have a muffler shop weld flanges, or just get someone's oem cat from the classifieds.

TWC is a brand? cause i have only heard it used as short for Three Way Catalyst, which any catalyst that actually is one should be.
