my car (99 GSR sedan) is in the shop right now getting repairs done. i was thinking that while it was in there, i might as well get my side moldings shaved... but then i thought of cost. are the moldings embedded into the side or are they just stuck on? i know some cars have just stuck on (or tabs, double sided tape etc.) but i'm not sure about an integra. anyone know the cost to shave the side moldings? labor charges won't apply since it's already in the shop. thanks!
Leave them on, there is much more trouble under those moldings than you might think. Hatch lid spoiler holes can be a bitch to have welded shut from what my body shop says, so you may want to stay away from doing that to larger holes on such a noticable part of your car. Spend your money on something that will make your car go faster or corner better.

yep you gotta get the holes welded shut..its alot of work and its pretty expencive, but i got hooked up andi had to get my whole car painted cause it got keyed bad. it looks real nice when its done though, im glad i got it done.

When you shave the rear emblems off, I guess they have to weld the holes too right? Correct me if I am wrong. But the front you can Bondo it?
, so I guess all they can do is bondo the front holes.
