I am still waiting. My estimated time will be about four and a half months.... they pushed my order back twice. Anybody else deal with this crap?

 

yep! i've been waiting on my white si for about 3+ months now.. honda keeps sending the wrong color! damn them!! hopefully it should finally arrive in about 7 more days! *crossing fingers*

5hrs of negotiations...drove it home that night!

 

Two days. It was at the Ft Worth Auto Show.

 

about a week from deposit to delivery. was supposed to get ghey galaxy grey but someone else backed out on the rally red so i picked it up instead. i probably would have settled for pink. hell, i might have preferred it

 

Bought it the same day i went to go look at it
It was on hold for a guy i felt bad but oh well money talks bullshit walks

 

If you found a pink SI youd have a gold mine car on your hands... assuming it came that way.

 

Sorry, I lucked out and found what I wanted on the lot with a great dealer. I was actually going to reserve one that day.

Yeah this sucks. I ordered my Si and i've been waiting a month already. Went to the dealership a few times to find out whats going on. They just keep saying sorry your going to have wait. Plus I order it with the navi and I heard thats going to take longer. I can't even choose what color I want, got to take whatever is available. I know there only making 15,000, but I'm really surprise with Honda. They have a winner on there hands, everybody wants one. I don't know why they don't supply more to meet the demands. I heard that the Honda factory doesn't take special orders on this car. They just make them and ship out to the dealership. I guess I'll have to wait. I waited about 3 months to get my 05 mustang gt. Geez I regret selling that stang. Well maybe if the Si takes too long, I get another new stang. We'll see.

 

i think ur dealer is wrong. u can order it the way u want. u will just have to wait until november and get an 07. my dealer told me i could order it how i wanted (navi, fujita blue, lip kit, fogs etc) at the price listed on honda.com... i would just have to wait. im not patient. go back to ur dealer with a print out of the car u built on hondas website and tell em thats what u want and thats what you'll pay. honda is smart not to flood the market with the si. they would be everywhere and the demand would go down. as for now they can mark up msrp because of the supply/demand curve. good business strategy

 

I've been waiting for just under 3 weeks for mine to arrive and it feels like months. Still another 2.5 weeks to go til the date they told me it will arrive. It's working out okay though becuase I haven't found a buyer for my hatch yet.

except that they have to sell much much more to start turning a profit due to all the R&D

fact is, they can sell more sedans so they make more of those first.

 

first one i had a deposit on was 3 weeks
than i found out they sold it

so i called around, found one that afternoon, drove it home that night

 

I put a deposit on a NBP SI with Navi and they say they were having problems getting it, but they had a FBP in stock with no navi and they would reduce the price for me so I took that deal and paid 20000 out the door I waited about a month

 

The waiting is over. The dealer call me up saying they have one, but without navi. But it was the color I wanted. He said I can have it if I picked it up today, the car was meant for somebodyelse, but couldn't pick it up today. Thats kinda messed up, but I guess if you snooze you lose. So now the car is in my garage. I guess I could always pick up a aftermarket navi. It's awesome car. I think the seats could of been better especially the lumbar. I always find myself not content with cars, I always find myself selling them less than a year.

 

Been waiting since 7/11 and it's 8/2 today. It's supposed to come in on 8/11 so I waited 1 month

 

i'm sorry but that's a bunch of crap.. i mean kudo's to you and everything, but these dealerships are ******** nowadays.. someone has waited patiently for a specific vehicle, and they sell it to whoever want's it, not to whoever ORDERED it..

which is why i'm not jumping over getting an SI, who know's, i throw a deposit down in the morning, by night, they sold it to another ****** and that deposit didnt mean ****!

Theres one on the lot @ White Plains Honda in Westchester. NBP no navi...it's wayyyyy in the back by the service dept...6 blocks away from the dealership

 

Wow i hope they dont do that to me i am putting my deposite down this weekend and i was told it would take atleast 3 months. I hope it dosent come in early so i will have more money to put down on it i just want to get that darn car ordered lol.
