Ok well this is how its goin down. Im soon to be gettin my liscence, and im gettin a crx. Well i sitting in science, and i overhear some kids talking about street racing *sigh* so i start listenin in, anyways, the kid, well call him X wants a Del Sol. Anyways, i start talking to him, and im like blah blah, i like CRX's, and hes like "those are gay". Well first off that just pissed me off so i started to get kinda pissy, anyways, i was like, do you even kno what VTEC is, cause he started sayin some **** about motors.. blah. and hes like "yea of course, but i dont need one, i like altezza lights, and im gonna get my car lowered and neons" well anyways, besides the point, this is whats goin down. Alot of kidz are gettin their liscences right now, and their gonna be "street ricers" this pisses me off so i decided when i get my car, im gonna go all performace right away, then maybe get some stuff like lowering spring, and maybe a nice WW body kit if i have money. Im gonna show these dumb ******* the difference between racing and ricing.! Sorry had to vent.

Does this sound good to start off with. I hope to get a 91 Si CRX. Im gonna make/get a CAI, gonna get a nice exhaust, and the type R header anygood, or should i go with a diff header?
Yeh, I'm down to put a phat sticker on my hatch for the races that says:
"I'll PAY YOU to trash your altezza lights and put stocks back on." Stock taillights are the best, especially when you buff them out nice and shiny new.

It is admirable that you realize the error of thier ways at such a tender, young age but, I really think you should just find a nice CRX Si(nice choice BTW) and just get it all nice and waxed, n' clean and maintain it, learn to drive properly, and leran, learn, learn...just keep doing research and earning money. You don't really sound like you know what you are talking about, but I'm not about to flame you for it, I owned my CRX for 3 yrs before I did anything to it. Don't waste money on crap you're going to have to buy twice. Just leave the D16 alone save for a swap, then buy parts for that. Ricers cannot last in this sport, they will be weeded out, it's just going to take time. Good luck finding a nice CRX!!!!
Ground Zero...your profile says your 30>>but you ahvent gotten your liscense yet and am still in HS....oh I get are you one of those special ED kids that end up working in the school LIbrary and is also the Football manager...????

Instead of getting a ww body kit and header or intake, why don't you save the cash for a swap or suspension things(things you can use even if you swap). And good luck finding a crx. I looked around in the two other cities next to the one I'm in and after about two months I found a dx. What really sucks is that after I bought it I saw three choice si's in places that I had already looked and asked about.
I'm still in HS, and what you just said, was EXACTLY what lead me to have what I have today.
look at my sig if interested.
"street ricers" that's a good one. I'll keep that in mind.

GroundZer0, buy a cheap beat up CRX, learn to drive it well. Your first car WILL get destroyed if your even thinking about racing already, and when it breaks learn to repair it. When you think you can handle your car try and find the closest SCCA autocross and hop in the stock class.
Dont forget to ask your mom first (insurance waiver and all that good stuff)
Before you go out and drive 90 mph in residential areas just think about if its worth your car or license. CRX's are very kick *** cars, learn to drive and maintain one so you can hurt those big bad "ricers" with your acquired crx knowledge

hey......if youre gonna wanna go performance, I say you save up for a b20 and of course a VTEC head.....this will take awhile for you to save up plus this is a GREAT spring board for going turbo and if you wanted to stay NA you have a nice 200 ponies (correct me if I'm wrong).....anyway, 200 HP in a car that weighs in the 2,000 lb area will be hella fast.......just my opinion on things....
