Default Is this possible?

I was on HMT looking at the Fastest cars thread and I came across this:

88 crx all motor
stock jdm itr motor and itr trans.
stock obd-2 ecu
shifting without tach cause it just bounced around.
weighed 2350 with me in it. and ran 12.6 @107

Doesn't seem possible to me, so I thought I would come here to see if it is?

I would call bs on that myself.

Even if he had slicks. I'd not buy that.

to run 12.6 in a 2350 lb car, you would need 232 horsepower at the wheels and 274 at the flywheel - you would also have to get all of the power to the ground

I'd say BS......

I suck at drag racing and I'm still learning but my intercooled JRSC ITR CRX on street tires ran a best 13.2 @109mph the other day. I'm putting down 280WHP and my CRX SI weighs 2350lbs. I can't see how it's possible that a all-motor ITR CRX can be in the mid-12s
