Break squeal
I put on a new set of Brembo blanks w/ metalmasters last autumn, but now I'm noticing that the breaks squeal when I apply them (which I know is normal). But I'm concerned that even under very light breaking (<5mph), it still makes a inconsistent squeaky noise... is this normal?
thanks in advance.

Check to make sure your brakes aren't worn down; a year is pretty soon to require changing your brake pads. May also try applying some anti-squeal compound to the back of the brake shims.

try that anti-squeal stuff.. as I learned on my friends accord.. sometimes theres nothing you can do... i've taken apart her brakes twice.. got different shims, used diff kinds of anti-squeal and it still squeaks.. she's using Performance Friction pads and i've tried everything to stop the sqeaking.. put in new rotors.. put back the old pads, etc.. it still squeaked..
