Default Crunching sound when clutch engages?

i have a eg sedan with a z6 in it. when i engage the clutch it clunks and crunches when i start to pull off. when i put it in nuetral to go back to the drive way it does the same thing but now it doesnt want to go in reverse. it feels like it doesnt want to go anymore.... does anyone know what could be wrong? im thinkin the clutch could be missing a chunk of pad b/c it would be like " cluck, cluck, ..........cluck cluck............cluck cluck, crunch...." Any one know? thanks in advance

sounds like you need a new clutch my friend, check your MTF too might just be low, also your syncros could be goin in the tranny, check the cheapest things first tho
