Default Tech specs and ?'s about Garrett T3/T4 turbo I just bought

I just bought a Garrett T3/T4 .60 trim .63 A/R turbo. I am wondering if any of you have this turbo and know what they max out at as far as PSI while still working efficiently. I am going to be running this on a built d-series motor and originally was planning on getting 400-500whp with this turbo and then was informed that it would be impossible. I was hoping to boost between 28-32psi and then was told by a person that they thought this would only go to 20-22psi before either losing efficiency or maxing it out on psi. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to know before putting this on and possibly wrecking something. Thanks in advance to all.

that turbo you ahve there is right at around 450hp rating theres no way in hell you gonna push 28-32psi out of it. you pushing that turbo way past its efficiency point

I guess that's pretty good for HP rating, but I really don't want to max it out. What do you think max psi is on this thing to get to 4-450hp (I assume this is flywheel hp too for max hp rating??)? Thanks for the answer b18bturbo, any other input is appreciated.

my boy has the exact turbo made 490 WHP with it on a fully built b16a stock bore. this was at 25psi. and that was pretty much the turbo's limit.

Cool thanks. So it looks like I am going to be going for 22-25psi at most. Too bad I won't be making that much power since it's going on a d-series.

Either way, I think I'll be pretty happy when it's all done. It will be the fastest car I've ever owned and my first big project. Anyone have this size turbo on their d-series?

This is an 8 YEAR OLD THREAD. I seriously doubt anyone that posted in here will reply.

there are plenty of d series running 60 trim t04e turbos. they are fairly laggy on a d series. what are your power goals? if it's anything like 400 or less the turbo is too big. you really need a 50 trim, sohc motors love that turbo.
