Default Gabriel or KYB GR-2 for CRX?

the Gabriel's sell for $147 a set and the KYB GR-2 go for $175 a set.....considering these will be on a lowered car....which set will provide a more comfortable ride?

They're both considered stock replacements. I wouldn't spend money on them if your stock shocks are good or if you're planning on dropping a fair amount.

I got a slightly used, great condition set of illuminas with skunk2 coils for 100 shipped, and it even had a set of blues thrown in with it,

I have had both the KYB GR-2 and KYB AGX 4 way adjustables

KYB GR-2's work great as a stock replacement. I ran them on my LS crx they worked decent on some cheap coils but after time seemed like they let loose after a while... But if your planning on lowering and doing a motor swap KYB AGX 4 way adjustables are definetly worth the extra $75-100 over the GR-2. I run AGX's in my H22A crx and have no complaints with skunk2 coils...

If your planning on a small drop form say Eibach Pro-kits then GR-2s are fine. I had that setup a while ago and it was so comfortable.

Our civic is running GR2's and sprint springs. Ride's great and GR2's are warrenty'd up to a 2" drop. There slightly stiffer then stock.

I've got a set of the AGX 4-Ways on my hatch and they are great. They have H&R sports on them. No Complaints here!
