pulling hard to the right after lowering
i have lowered a few cars in the past. last night i lowered my new daily. i took her for a road test and she pulls hard to the right. and i do mean hard. i know i need an alignment because i just lowered the car but has anyone experience a very hard pull after lowering? i can understand a slight pull to one side or the other but i have never had a car pull this hard after lowering. the car was wrecked before and had front end damage but was put on a frame straightener when it was fixed and the car drove fine before. there is a couple stipulations tho. i had steelies on the car when it had drove straight. i installed the new wheels with *used* tires on the car after lowering it. the tires have the right pressure because they have never been mounted on a car after installing them on the wheels and my tire tech double check the balance and tire pressure. im just wondering if the hard pull is due to needing an alignment (even tho i have never experienced a hard pull like this before after lowering a car) or is there something i fucked up to make the car pull like this?
SOmething in the suspension is way off (toe/camber). Also for you put it up in the air and shake down the frontend to see if there is anything loose up there like balljoibnts or tie rod ends or the wheel bearing.
If you haven't even got an alignment yet then there's nothing to worry about. You just completely altered the geometry of your vehicle's suspension, of course it's going to be messed up.
Go get an alignment and come back and tell us how it is.

i know i need an alignment. i was just worried about how hard the car pulled to the right. im just worried that when i take it to get an alignment, they will tell me that something is jacked up and it cant be aligned

A lot of places won't align a car with bad or worn suspension pieces because it will get knocked out really quick and thye cannot get a true/good read out of them. Get it aligned then worry about the suspension.
you just need an alignment, nothing to worry about.

don't listen to him, if your joints were bad, the technician will not be able to align the car, and he will tell you why.
